I’ve been hearing from some of the musicians followed here at Now I’ve Heard Everything on what they are doing right now.

Sydney Wayser is back in New York City and working on a new record at  The Magic Shop Studio.  Until that record is finished, Sydney is taking a few months off from shows.  She’ll be attending SXSW 2011 (which will be held in Austin in mid-March) and will probably play a few shows in New York around that time before she leaves for Austin.  This Saturday (December 18th), Sydney’s electronic band, Pretty Good Dance Moves will be playing a show at Pianos.

The Damnwells new record is done and is coming out March 1, 2011.  Titled No One Listens to the Band Anymore, the new record will be released by Pledge Music‘s new record label.  It will feature 12 new songs and The Damnwells will tour in support of this new record throughout 2011.

Charlie Faye has successfully raised (via Kickstarter) the money to finish recording her new record.  That new record will include songs Charlie wrote and recorded while she was on her tour this year.  That tour was different from the usual one night in a string of cities; Charliee spent a month in 10 different cities and rounded up a band in each place.  Charlie is now back at home in Austin, Texas and has begun writing a book about her 10 cities tour.
